Boka 1 is back. We will be going out on Friday morning to visit our friends and fans that were missed last week. Sycom, CRC and Wells Fargo are on the list. Then Friday evening 5pm-7pm we are serving the tasting menu at the Wine Cellar off Walmart way in Midlothian. We will have shrimp and scallop ceviche, duck confit, and braised rabbit among the selections.
ATTENTION: The carts Downtown will be taking on a bold NEW Look and Concept!!!
We will be holding true to Asian-Mexican-American Fusion with a focus on fresh, local seasonal selections. However, we will be appealing to the masses with a new “Build your Own” Noodle, Salad and Tako concept. You will still get to choose from your favorite meats (Korean Barbecue style Beef, Braised Guajillo Pork, Shoyu Tofu, or delicious chicken) in addition to featured specials (Duck confit, Tamarind Goat, Scallop and Shrimp ceviche, and whatever else inspires us…).
Salads will be offered with your choice of dressings and signature toppings, while noodle bowls will have a choice of sauce and toppings. Takos will be offered Asian, Mexican, American or Seasonal style.
Meal prices will range in the $5-$6 dollar range with drink combo and premium ingredient up-charges as an option.
We will be purchasing locally from Cabbage hill farms, Twin Oaks and others at our Richmond Farmers Markets.
The new Karts will be debuting under the name “KOMIDA” which is a butchering of the Spanish word for “Food”.
